Fungus is a primitive organism and it can live in air, soil, plants, water everywhere. Some fungi are helpful for us, and some are harmful.
Fungal infections are caused by harmful fungi which are very common. It is not as serious if they are diagnosed early and correctly.

2. Symptoms of Fungal Infections of Nails :
If you see the symptoms listed below in one or more nails, then you may have nail fungus –
- Broken nails ;
- Brittle nail ;
- Changing the color of nail ;
- Distorted shape of nail ;
- Feeling little pain in the nail ;
- Nails are slightly stink ;
Nail fungus can affect any nail, but it spreads more in the toe nail .
3. Causes Of Nail Fungal Infection :
Nail Fungal infection is caused by various fungal organisms. The most common cause is a type of fungus known as dermatophyte. Yeast and mold can also cause nail infection.
Fungal nail infection can develop in people at any age, but it appears more in older adults. As the nail age, it can be brittle and dry. The resulting cracks in the nails allow the fungus to enter. Other factors – such as low blood circulation in the legs and weakened immune system – can also play a role in nail infection.
These infections can expand from one nail to another. But nobody can get infection from anyone else.
4. Natural Remedies For Nail Fungus :
[a] Tea Tree Oil :
Tea tree oil contain natural anti-fungal and antiseptic properties. First of all, clean the affected area and then place the Tea tree oil directly on the toe. Let it stay on nails for about 10 minutes and then clean it. Repeat daily.
[b] Baking Soda :
Make a paste using baking soda and water and apply it to the place of infection.Then let it dry for 10 minutes after that wash with water.You can also make a foot bath by mixing a bucket of water with 2 tablespoon baking soda . Let entire your feet for soaked , after doing this wash your feet and moisturize it .
[c] Apple Cider Vinegar :
Vinegar is slightly acidic. Apple cider vinegar works to balance the pH level of the skin. This prevents the fungus from spreading, and kills bacteria and fungi. Mix equal parts of vinegar and water and soak the infected area for 30 minutes daily. After that dry it well .
[d] Lavender Oil :
Lavender oil has antiseptic properties, and it also prevents irritation. Use a cotton ball to apply lavender oil to your infected place, leave it for 10 to 20 minutes and then wash it. Repeat several times a day.
[e] Garlic :
Garlic has anti-fungal properties which are useful for the treatment of fungus. It works naturally for the treatment of fungus. Grind a garlic and make a paste, you mix this paste with a little vinegar, now apply this mixture to the infected area and around it and then cover it with a bandage. Leave the strip for a few hours. Repeat this until the nail fungus is cleared .
